Shipping/Delivery Policy and Patriot List Returns Guidelines!
Buyers are more comfortable shopping with sellers who have great reputations on and off line. However, we also know that buyers like things to be fair – Patriot List has found that the best way to keep things fair is to offer a simple shipping and return policy. Patriot List shipping is made easy through popular shipping companies.

Shipping: The seller must upload a picture of the shipping receipt via the Patriot List Web application or mobile application and manually type in the tracking number for the product being shipped on the Patriot List orders page.
Shipping costs are a portion of the original cost to the buyer. If the product is shipped the total amount held in the (escrow Z-account) for the transaction is included and therefore refundable. However, only the amount originally paid for shipping by the buyer will be refunded if the buyer chooses to ship the product back for any reason.
Manual Delivery: Buyer & Sellers must identify the time, date, and location of drop off or pick up. Both must agree in writing on the Patriot List Orders page.
All sellers on Patriot List are required to adhere to our basic return policy. Our friendly return policy helps to keep things fair to attract more buyers. Accepting returns can also provide your buyers with a way to resolve concerns without filing a disputes case.
The Patriot List returns policy means a buyer can return an item for any reason, including when they change their mind about a purchase—as long as the “return” meets the return requirements. See Return Requirements below
24 Hours: Buyer has 24 hours from receiving the product to inform the seller of a planned return. No refunds will be granted for returns outside of this 24 hour period.

Return Form: Buyer must complete the Patriot List Transaction Dispute/Return Form

Monetary refund: All refunds will be in U.S. Dollars and will not be returned until the seller’s product is returned.
Shipping costs: Refundable by seller & money will be debited directly from seller account.
Z coins: Zcoins are only allotted after the 24hr return policy has passed (100 Z Coins per review)

If you are unhappy with the product for whatever reason, please contact the seller to arrange a return and refund with 24hrs of receiving the product. (i.e. buyer has 24hrs to inform the seller that the product will be returned)

We use an automated Patriot List feedback response system. The only way for you to see the feedback left about you is to leave feedback for the other person. If you are happy with the product, please leave positive feedback and the seller will automatically be prompted to leave positive feedback for you. Remember that each piece of feedback will earn you 300 Z-coins to be used toward reducing your transaction costs during your next Patriot List transaction.
If you are unhappy with the transaction for any reason, please contact the buyer or seller first to resolve your dispute. If you do leave negative or neutral feedback without contacting the buyer or seller first then you open yourself up for possible retaliatory negative feedback.
Please avoid making negative feedback remarks, contact the person first if you have any problems!
You will be contacted through your Patriot List registered e-mail address, please make sure that it is working, if not please update you Patriot List profile with your new e-mail address. All verified Patriot List users are required by Patriot List to respond to messages within 72 hours, please bear with them as we all get a lot of messages everyday. If you do not receive a reply to your email within 3 days, it means that the person might not have received your email or their Patriot List reply might have been filtered out by your spam filters. If this happens, please check your spam/bulk/junk mail folders or email them from a different email account only after you have changed your email account on your Patriot List Profile.

Patriot List is your tool for your local marketplace, so you need to make sure you're abiding by your local state laws. That may include food preparation regulations, permitting rules, liability insurance, employee rights and tax laws.
Be Kind, Courteous, and Neighborly
If you abuse the marketplace you will face the consequences.
That might sound a little harsh, but basically, it means anyone who fails to uphold their end of the deal will be asked to leave. Your first mistake will be met with a stern warning, Patriot List will step in to help mediate the situation, but repeated abusive behavior will end in violators being banned from participating on the platform
Violations for Storefront Owners may include:
Not responding to orders or messages after a conversation has been initiated
Reports of shipped items not reaching their destination
Violating community trust and safety
Poor customer service
Failure to respond to and resolve customer complaints about a completed order
Subcontracting work without discussing with the customer
Violations for customers may include:
Not being available to receive orders during the times you requested
Ending communication without explanation after an order has been initiated
Soliciting Storefront Owners through Patriot List messaging for your own business
Failure to pay for the agreed-upon good or service
Attempting to pay with alternative methods like checks, cash, etc.
First offense: Warning, Patriot List will step in to mediate.
Second offense: 90 day suspension.
Third offense: Full account termination.
Remember, you're working with people who live in your community. These are your neighbors and this is your personal reputation at stake here. Only you can build it or damage it.
